Our story
An old school bakery in the home of the white squirrel
Owner Victoria Allen believes that every town deserves a local bakery. That’s why she decided to open The White Squirrel Bakery on Main Street in Exeter, Ontario.
After years of experience in fine dining restaurants in England and Canada where she developed her skills for pastry, pasta, and traditional Canadian cuisine, Victoria and her husband relocated to Exeter to live closer to their family. When the perfect space presented itself she jumped at the opportunity to open up her dream bakery so she could share her recipes with you.

Top quality & locally-sourced ingredients
The White Squirrel Bakery promises traditional handmade breads and baked goods made with locally sourced ingredients. The bakery’s open concept kitchen lets passersby view the bread being baked from the window on the street and from inside the bakery!
